    Mr. Young and General Secretary Foster Cummings took questions from the press and were clear the athe entire 21 memebr caucus of MPs were unified in support of Mr. Young as the next Prime Minister

    The PRO of the party, Mr. Faris Al-Rawi when asked about "minding" rifts was firm in his response that there was nothing to "mend" but the Gen council gathering was a normal occurrence during a transitional phase and was needed to cement clarity amongst the leadership.

    Mr. Al-Rawi also took a moment to remind reporters that there is currently NO Vacancy for Political Leader of the PNM, however acknowledged that it was setting precedent that the Prime Minister and Political Leader would be two separate persons until Dr. Rowley's term ends in 2026
