SOME THA WORKERS SENT HOME MERE DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS:
Workers attached to the Division of Settlements, Public Utilities and Rural Development were called into a meeting and some were told do not return to the office.
While some employees are receiving Christmas dinners and bonuses with Christmas just days away some employees of the Division of Settlements situated at Glen Road received the news that their job positions have become redundant and they will no longer be employed with the division as of the 31st December 2024.
Some of these employees have well over 10 years of service with the division.
