The Ministry of Works and Transport has launched the Disability Parking Permit.
This special Permit is a significant step toward ensuring full and effective participation in society for persons with disabilities, by providing them with designated and accessible parking spaces that are identified by the International Symbol of Access.
With the Permit, persons with a disability can easily access designated parking spaces (disability parking zones), which can enhance their access to buildings. Let’s make accessible parking in Trinidad and Tobago a right, not a privilege.
