ELECTION ALERT 
- Prime Minister Dr. Luc Mercelina invokes Article 59 - triggering snap elections within 3 months in St Maarten - citizens will vote for the 2nd time in almost 6 months.
This comes following the collapse of the Coalition Government which was sworn-in 18 days ago on May 3.
Yesterday, an elected member from the governing coalition crossed the floor - reducing the Government's majority from 8 to 7.
