The birth of Jesus was not recognized by the influencers of that time.
He was the Hallowed of heaven; yet this royal subject had no attendants. His birth at the time seemed meaningless to the very men he came to our world to save. But his coming was recognized by all of heaven. Angels of God, Sang glory to God in the highest Peace and good will towards men. The wise men came with gifts and costly offerings of frankincense and myrrh, to pay their oblation to the infant king foretold in prophecy.
Christmas day is a reminder of the sacrifice made on our behalf.
As appreciation for God's gift, let us use this season not merely for eating but for giving thanks, Helping our fellow man, Creating the spirit of love and togetherness in our spaces. It was Christ birth that paved the way for our eternal redemption, certainly good news to celebrate.
