There are conflicting reports on when this event happened It could be years ago.

Trinidadian businessman Shane Ramsundar and his family were sentenced to 418 years combined in a New York prison after they were found guilty of immigration fraud and other fraudulent crimes.

The length of their sentence has shocked many and sets an example as a deterrent for others to not do it.

This video details all their charges, how they were caught and why they received so many years as well as a breakdown of their sentence as in number of years to be served before they can walk free.

That is what happens when people find some kinda "Bacchanal Sensational" News and repost it for clicks and likes, and DON'T cite their sources or the original date it was reported oor ocurred.

Something we make great effort on this platofrm to avoid.

we will flag is is MISLEADING where we find such instances. and Further in the forums we have started to implement a new feature called "HOW I KNOW THAT" to encourage posters to cite their sources or say how they know what they are posting.

just because some "person" makes or posts a video on SM or their own website - does not make it truth and we must be intentional about considering the sources and vetting information we choose to share.
