The Cabinet Appointed Committee to review the placement of statues, monuments, and signage in Trinidad and Tobago (“The Committee”) has been established to develop a policy for the placement and removal of statues, monuments, and signage in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Committee is inviting written submissions from members of the public with your views on the items below.

REMOVE THEM ALL. NONE OF THESE COLONISERS SHOULD OCCUPY PLACES OF PROMINENCE AND HONOUR IN OUR SPACES!

As an alternative - Lest we forget - in order to teach the historical events (so we can avoid repeating the injustices) - place them in a central non-prominent place with full text and context of their origins, and the deeds and misdeeds of the person(s) in whose image the statue is made.
