Materials missing
*Chaos at Siparia Corp as cops called in over missing materials*
Chaos erupted at a special statutory meeting of the Siparia Borough Corporation on Monday as officials launched an investigation into missing materials from a corporation stockpile.
The meeting, led by Mayor Doodnath Mayrhoo, addressed allegations of the unauthorised removal of materials by corporation members.
However, a walkout soon followed. Speaking to Guardian Media yesterday, Mayor Mayrhoo accused some councillors of bypassing standard procedures to access materials.
“During the meeting, it was found that certain councillors made calls for the transfer of materials, which were dropped in various locations. The material is not actually missing; it was used up in other areas. However, we are now putting a system in place to ensure accountability for every ounce of material that comes into that stockpile,” Mayrhoo revealed.
He criticised Alderman Victor Roberts and UNC councillor Deryk Bowrin for their lack of support, accusing them of aligning with the PNM despite their UNC affiliation.
“Victor Roberts and Bowrin are taking a stance that aligns with PNM councillors, raising questions about their political loyalty,” claimed Mayrhoo.
He mentioned that the borough corporation is working to improve accountability measures, including a system to track stockpile materials.
Mayrhoo also expressed frustration over the lack of legislative measures to remove aldermen who act against the borough’s interests.
“There should be legislation to discipline and remove individuals who obstruct borough operations,” he said.
However, Alderman Roberts challenged Mayrhoo’s claims. He alleged that an engineer said it was the mayor who had reportedly directed the removal of materials.
Roberts said he intends to present evidence to the Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Procurement Regulator, possibly triggering further investigations.
Giving his side of the controversial meeting, Roberts said, “The mayor started acting hostile after the report revealed his role in using a private contractor to remove materials from the government stockpile.”
Roberts added that the PNM members walked out, leaving the meeting without a quorum. He claimed Bowrin was already outside.
“The entire opposition team left due to the mayor’s conduct,” Roberts claimed. He denied that he and Bowrin had walked out with the PNM.
Roberts, who described himself as a dedicated UNC Alderman, voiced his commitment to transparency.
“I have information on corruption within the corporation, some of which pre-dates my involvement, and I will expose it. I am committed to doing what is right,” he said.
A memorandum dated November 5 from the engineering and survey officer stated that reports had been made of missing material from a stockpile located at Hickling Village, Fyzabad.
Municipal police later realised the compound was not secure.
An internal memorandum dated October 10 indicated that all technical officers were due to respond on the method for receiving and issuing stockpile material, as well as provide a summary of all material purchases for each electoral district for fiscal year 2023/2024.
The document stated: “His Worship the Mayor made a request to use a private backhoe and truck to transport material for the district of Avocat/San Francique North due to a lack of operational equipment in transport.”
On October 9, former UNC councillor Jason Ali, who later left the UNC and joined the PNM, made a report of a larceny of materials to Sgt Ganesh of the Fyzabad Police Station, which triggered an ongoing police investigation.

*Robinson-Regis says no truth to Moonilal’s claims: HDC not evicting Kareem Marcelle supporters*
Oropouche East MP Dr Roodal Moonilal has accused state-owned HDC, which falls under Housing Minister Camille Robinson-Regis, of receiving a political directive to evict customers supporting candidates seeking leadership change in the PNM.
Asked yesterday for evidence of his claims, Moonilal, the UNC’s shadow Housing Minister, said he received information that HDC has sent eviction notices to people who voted in support of PNM’s Laventille West hopeful Kareem Marcelle instead of the incumbent MP for the constituency, Fitzgerald Hinds.
Moonilal added it was not the right time to threaten eviction since most of the tenants owing HDC are struggling financially due to the high cost of living.
In a statement on Monday, Moonilal said, “Minister of Housing Camille Robinson-Regis must instruct the Housing Development Corporation to hold its hand on its new wave of evictions of housing clients. The HDC has written to several homeowners and tenants threatening to eject them for payment delinquency.
“Most of the clients in arrears are experiencing serious financial problems because of the lack of meaningful job opportunities and the high cost of living. There are also reports that the corporation has been politically ordered to expel home occupiers supporting candidates seeking leadership change in the PNM. This is vindictive and cruel.
“The PNM is now in a civil war, and innocent HDC occupiers are targets as collateral damage. The minister must give a public directive to the corporation.”
However, Robinson-Regis, the HDC and Marcelle have all fired back, refuting claims that tenants are being politically targeted.
Robinson-Regis said yesterday that evictions are purely a financial matter.
“As minister with responsibility for the HDC, I wish to state that there has been no directive by me or anyone else in the HDC to target persons because of their political persuasions. Perhaps that is the UNC style of politics and Dr Moonilal’s in particular, but certainly, that is not how we in the 68-year-old PNM operate. The HDC’s mandate to improve its debt collection and reduce its delinquency ratio is purely a matter of prudent fiscal management.
“The time span between the commencement of the process of eviction to actual eviction is approximately four months, and during that time, every opportunity is provided to the tenant to make good on their tenancy obligations. Eviction is, and has always been, a last resort for the HDC,” the minister said.
Robinson-Regis also questioned Moonilal’s leadership style.
“Dr Moonilal’s media statement seeks again to deflect from his own current circumstances, and in keeping with his leader’s style, adopts a populist approach to governance, which conveniently ignores the rule of law, as well as established policies and procedures. By calling for an end to evictions before elections, Moonilal is presuming to know the date of the general election. This is the same Roodal Moonilal who is accused of engaging in the award of multiple million-dollar contracts days before the 2015 general election.”
The HDC, in its statement, said it was not targeting people because of their political affiliations.
“The claim that the HDC is targeting people because of their political affiliations is not only false but misleading. We wish to echo the sentiments of the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, the Honourable Camille Robinson-Regis, who confirmed that neither she nor any employee from the HDC instructed persons to target its tenants because of their political choices. If tenants do not vacate the premises by the stipulated time frame, they are personally advised of the eviction. It is only those tenants who choose to stay after all attempts have been made to recover funds or establish a reasonable payment plan, who are evicted.”
Marcelle, when contacted by Guardian Media to respond to claims that his supporters were being evicted, called it UNC propaganda.
“That is absolutely false news, lies and UNC propaganda at its best. No such thing occurred. Dr Moonilal and the UNC should spend their time and resources focusing on their political sinking ship (UNC) which is being led a political leader who has lost the most elections consecutively in our nation’s history. The PNM has never operated in this manner and we will never do. We are held to the highest standards. I reject and condemn these baseless allegations,” he said.

*Bandits run off with Abbi Blackman’s car keys during robbery attempt*
Calypso icon and member of the musical Blackman family Abbi Blackman narrowly escaped a robbery attempt late Tuesday night in Maraval.
Police said around 10 pm, officers Cpl Rahim, PC Conliff, and WPC Pascual Medina were on patrol near the KFC parking lot on Saddle Road when they noticed suspicious activity. They saw Blackman, who was seated in her silver Kia Sportage, and two men near her vehicle.
Officers observed a silver Hyundai Elantra blocking Blackman’s vehicle with a third man seated inside the Elantra. The officers immediately approached and realised the two men were accosting Blackman and demanding her car keys.
One of the suspects allegedly grabbed Blackman, 60, by the neck and took her car keys before fleeing on foot as officers raced towards the scene. Despite officers giving chase, the two suspects managed to elude capture, scaling a wire fence. However, police officers arrested the driver of the Elantra. Further investigation revealed that the car’s license plate was false.
Police said the case remains under active investigation led by WPC Pascual Medina.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police as they continue to pursue leads in the attempted robbery.

Vaccines are not vaccines
US Supreme Court ruling:
Covid vaccines are NOT vaccines. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. won his lawsuit against all pharmaceutical lobbyists.
Covid-19 vaccines are NOT vaccines. In its decision, the Supreme Court confirms that the damage caused by Covid mRNA gene therapies is IRREPARABLE. Since the Supreme Court is the highest court in the United States, there are no further appeals and all avenues of appeal have been exhausted.
In a statement, Robert F. Kennedy stressed that this success was only possible thanks to the international cooperation of a large number of lawyers and scientists. Of course, this ruling sets an international precedent.
Especially in Switzerland this ruling should have an impact, because Switzerland has a special position with its federal constitution. On the one hand, it is listed in the Nuremberg Code in Article 118b of the Constitution and in Switzerland the misuse of genetic engineering on humans is prohibited according to Article 119 of the Federal Constitution. This is supplemented by Article 230bis of their Criminal Code and this means that perpetrators RISK spending up to 10 years in prison.
However, this historic ruling should also give pause to the rest of the world, because the Nuremberg Code is internationally valid and is also contained in Article 7 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
In the case of criminal charges, the Declaration should refer to the Contergan scandal to give special weight to the importance of such charges or accusations.
In these cases, the German lawyer Rainer Füllmich and more than 100 other German lawyers are actively involved. NO media outlet is TALKING about it, neither in Switzerland nor in Europe.
Unfortunately, it is almost mathematical that, being a disruptive issue capable of upsetting the financial and economic plans of the powerful PHARMACEUTICAL LOBBIES, public opinion is not informed. We are in the middle of a promotional campaign aimed at inciting people to get vaccinated and then get vaccinated again, in view of the coming winter.
It is very likely that if news of the historic ruling ever circulates, it will do so late to allow the corrupt medical class, aligned with the positions of the pharmaceutical lobbies, to advance as far as possible with the vaccination campaign.LET US therefore INVITE all honest and well-intentioned people to give maximum publicity to this historic ruling of the Supreme Court of the United States. For our own good, but above all for the good of our children and grandchildren... Let us not allow the lobbyists to irremediably ruin our health and endanger our lives.
LET US PROMOTE REBELLION AGAINST THE DIRTY AND UNPUNISHED DEATH BUSINESS.You can see the news at the following link:
