I was impressed with young Mr. Sanjiv Boodhu this last elections season; man is like an energiser bunny and smart and hard working
from my observation this last cycle party group leaders, field officers et al, did not do well helping the newbie candidates get exposure, working with their campaign managers, getting word out about their campaigns - they semed to think just going on walkabouts would bring out people;
one in particular I felt got done a disservice is the young Lady from Tabaquite; brillant, smart, dedicated, but she got left out in the cold to spin.

The party has a Women’s League that comprises the women members of the Movement organized on a Constituency basis.
The Women’s League has special responsibility for dealing with the problems of women and for promoting the full participation of women in all phases of national and community life with particular emphasis on moral, social, economic and cultural activities.
The Lady Vice Chairman of the Movement is the ex officio Chairman of the Women’s League and it is her duty to draw up in conjunction with the Women’s League Executive, an Annual Programme for the Women’s League and the approval of the General Council.
An Annual Conference of the Women’s League must be convened by the Executive Committee of the Women’s League to elect the members of the Executive other than the Chairman.
The PNM has a Youth League which comprises of the Youth members of the Movement and is organized via a Constituency basis.
The Youth League has special responsibility for dealing with problems of Youth and promoting the full participation of Youth in all phases of National Community and Party life with particular emphasis on Education, Economic, Cultural, Sporting, Social and Moral activities.
The Executive of the Youth League consists of a Chairman, a Vice-Chairman, a Secretary, an Assistant Secretary / Treasurer, an Education Officer, a Public Relations Officer, a Field Officer, a Welfare Officer, and the Chairman of each Constituency Youth League.
Meetings are to be held at least once every month.
The Executive of the Youth League except the Chairman of each Constituency Youth League shall be elected at the Annual Conference of the Youth League from among the Youth members of the Movement.
